Manchester's
Government Structure
Manchester
operates under a council/manager form of government.
The Town's Board of Directors (town council) consists
of nine elected officials and serves as the legislative
and policy making body for the town. The Board of Directors
appoints the General Manager, who in turn is the town's
chief operating officer responsible for the day-to-day
operations of the town. The General Manager supervises
all town administrative staff and departments.
