Manchester
is centrally located in the Hartford Capitol Region. Located
10 miles east of Hartford, Manchester has excellent highway
accessibility. Interstate 84, Interstate 384, and Interstate
291 all merge at Manchester's eastern boundary providing
superior access to markets throughout Connecticut, west
to New York, east to Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and
north to Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. Manchester
is approximately 20 minutes from Bradley International
Airport and 15 minutes from Brainard Airport in Hartford.
Manchester is served by multiple bus lines operated by
Connecticut Transit and is about 15 minutes away from
Amtrak service at Hartford's Union Station. Commercial
rail access is also available.
